Ultrasonic Cake Cutting Machine

An ultrasonic cake cutting machine slices mousse cakes, cheesecakes, frozen desserts and layered pastries cleanly at room or sub-zero temperature — no smearing, no crushed edges, no blade wiping between cuts. Sinceresonics builds ultrasonic food cutting systems and titanium blades for bakeries and industrial food producers.

The Problem with Ordinary Blade Cutting

Soft and frozen cakes stick to steel blades. Every cut smears the surface, drags filling out of the slice and gets worse as the blade warms up — operators stop to wipe or warm the blade, output drops, and slices look ragged on the shelf.

Ultrasonic cutting solves this mechanically: the blade vibrates at 30–40 kHz with a micron-scale amplitude, so the contact surface never grips the product. Friction drops to near zero, the cut face stays clean, and sticky fillings (caramel, ganache, frozen cream) separate without smearing.

Benefits at a Glance

  • Clean cut faces — better shelf presentation, less giveaway
  • No blade warming or wiping — continuous production
  • Frozen products cut without tempering, protecting texture and food safety
  • Food-grade titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) blades, easy to sanitize
  • Cuts per slice controlled by time or stroke — consistent portion weights

FAQ

Can it cut multi-layer products with hard inclusions (nuts, biscuits)?

Yes in most cases. The blade handles firm layers; send us your product for a free cutting test and a video of the result.

What’s the difference between a 305 mm and 90 mm blade in practice?

Blade length must exceed product depth with margin. The 90 mm suits bars and small portions; the 305 mm handles full sheet cakes and deep blocks. See the blade selection guide.

Does it fit automated lines?

Yes — the cutter integrates as a module into depositing and packaging lines. See food industry applications.
